WELCOME TO YOGA TRANING CENTER

Accepted wisdom states that a longer, healthier, illness free life depends on regular exercise but many of us resist starting and committing to regular exercise due to the effort and pain of working out, time commitments and numerous other barriers. These barriers can be easily overcome by choosing a simple but effective activity that will have you coming back every day for more - yoga.

Yoga delivers health benefits to everyone, regardless of age, gender or fitness making it ideal for less active people as well as fitness addicts. Even a relatively basic yoga routine increases heart and breathing rates (essential for cardiovascular health) as well as strengthening and toning muscles and increasing fat burn. In a cycle of continuous development, as your fitness and strength develop, you become able to hold yoga poses much deeper and for longer further increasing your fitness and strength. Through regular practice you'll experience improved health, weight loss, muscle tone, relaxation, improved sleep, increased energy, increased mental abilities, increased self-confidence and many other benefits that will make you feel and look great in no time.

Yoga comprises specific poses that use body weight resistance and stretching to increase your heart and breathing rates, strengthen, stretch, massage tone and stimulate every muscle, joint, nerve and organ to awaken and enrich mind and body. The health benefits of yoga are so great through this stimulation of all aspects of the body.

Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity

Obesity affects over 65 percent of Americans. With all of the unhealthy food choices readily available, and the extreme lack of exercise, the United States is rapidly becoming an overall obese society. The causes of obesity are numerous, but obesity facts are not well presented to the general public. Obesity prevention should be taught early on in one’s life, and parents of children should be fully educated on all the various obesity symptoms that can be detected well before obesity takes full form.

In correlation with the rise in obesity, there is a rise in Type 2 diabetes. Millions of people have full-fledged diabetes, and about twice the amount of people are simply diagnosed with pre-diabetes, which is a condition where glucose levels are high, but not high enough to constitute Type 2 diabetes.

Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes

Obesity usually eventually results in Type 2 diabetes. An individual afflicted with Type 2 diabetes has cells that are resistant to insulin. Insulin acts as a transporter for glucose from the bloodstream into the cells. The cells are insulin resistant because the individual is overweight. To make matters worse, it may be possible that fat cells are even more resistant to insulin than healthy muscle cells. Obesity compounds the insulin resistance associated with Type 2 diabetes because there are more fat cells than muscle cells. Therefore, glucose is left to wander the bloodstream, and in turn, the cells do not have energy to survive.

Lower the Risk for Health Problems by Losing Weight

Obesity prevention can be as simple as losing those extra 7 to 10 pounds. This weight represents 5 to 7 percent of the body weight for many people. It may seem like a minute amount, but this small amount of weight loss can go to lengths for lowering the risk of future health problems. Diabetes can even be slowed down with some small weight loss. Shedding a few pounds can lower cholesterol levels and regulate blood pressure.

Anatomically, where people carry their weight can affect their risks for health problems just as much as how much they weigh. If the weight is condensed around the waist, then the person is more prone to be obese, as well as to suffer from obesity-related illnesses. Individuals who hold more weight in their hips and thighs are less likely to suffer from these illnesses.
